it was a carcus. was behind a big truck. it cleared it. obviously i didnt... and I wish i could find the person who owned the dog. maybe he could pay my thousand dollar insurance deductible...

That's why I liked my old ride height...dead shit usually hit the frt bumper first and was pushed out to the side of he truck...although I do have a nice dent from a turtle I hit one time. I always reinforce the he'll outta my skin or roll pan. I have a piece of 2x2 running on the bottom of my skin..along with a piece of 1/8 that plates the entire rear under carriage of my bed...from the rear fenders back. It's saved my ass on 100s of occasions. Good luck with your rebuild man.
