1300 miles one weekend round trip from Amarillo TX to Austin TX in the middle of summer with no A/C in my 1992 mazda b2200. It was great. Next time you take a road trip, take a look at what people are driving, and take a look at how many people are stranded. Bring yourself an extra bag, an extra fuel pump, and maybe an alternator.

my wife and I both daily bagged vehicles.

I drive an 87 c10 that has been bagged for 3 years. Something on the engine is going to leave you stranded before the suspension. but those trucks are easy to fix!

dont think ive ever had a suspension problem leave me stranded. had an audio/electric problem and always motor problems. and running out of gas. lol if the work is done right, the suspension should not be your worries. just keep the motor maintained the best you can and bring parts and tools on long hauls. no matter how well you plan, shit can still go wrong.
