hey guys picked up a used oasis i believe 3000 series ...anyone runnin these like em???? any pros/cons on these comps?? thanks also ..due to its girth where should i mount in my 89 s10 blazer?? ha

x2 what pootus said. they were the shit years ago but now-a-days they are outdated and over rated. a junkyard york 210 compressor will do better, about $35 and insane psi output

Had one and traded it away to much power draw but lots of air. im much happier with my dual 480s.

yes it pulls lots of amps but if your charging system is already upgraded then it should be fine. try to use it while you are driving and not idling. since it is such a high cfm compressor it does not have to be ran for very long, maybe 40 seconds depending what psi your cut off is at. i have mine in my bed but i have seen it mounted under the bed behind the tire on the outside of the frame. i believe they sale some mounting trays for it if you do not want to build your own. if you have not installed it and your charging system is not upgraded the EDC would be nice though.

gonna give her a whirl and see what i think ..think i'll be ok with stock alternator and optima battery??? i could run a manual switch also to cut it on when driving ??
