Been a while since the last update, been super duper busy with tax season orders, so that swamped us here.
figured i would post up some pics for the guys that dont follow us on facebook:
Some fabricated spindles for an 88-98 FSC 1500
Started with the basics. Designed the spindle start to finish in solid works, then went through a few different options and decided on a final design and started working. turned the tapered shaft section from a solid piece of 2.5" OD 4140 stress proofed steel. this stuff machines great.
Cut some of the slugs i would use for the ball joint mount , and created some tapered holes to match the taper of the ball joints being used. Also i started slugging some of the main body of the spindle from 1.5" thick mild steel.
Then did this shit:
Obviously i have to mount some breaks to this truck, so i cut those and welded them in place.
I finished the design for the steering arm last week, and im cutting it out now to weld that on, i will update with those pics soon also.
Besides that, its been the usual around here. Pumping out arm orders, and designing a few new products as well. I have two new arm designs coming out soon, I think they will end up being pretty popular as well!
heres some misc arm photos since the last update:
Square body Dually arms to a 3/4 ton hub conversion :
LOTS of ranger sets, these have been popular lately!
Did this custom set of arms with a aluminum insert into them, they are a flat blue as well. turned out cool looking.
