I don't have a Facebook. What happened with Taylor's family?!

Im sorry bro, i got your email the other day, and i didnt reply. With everything goning on, i just forgot. I appreciate nick posting this on here for me, as i forgot.

My pregnant wife was rushed to the hospital last week, as i found here unconscious in the middle of the night. They had to have an emergency surgery to try and save them both. Today is the first day ive been gone from her side, as she started to wake up a couple days ago, and is now alert. Shes not quite 100% there, but the combination of seeing my daughters eyes for the first time, and my wifes eyes after not knowing if i ever would again are two of the best things to ever happen to me.

I will have the guys in the shop back to regular pace next week, and I truly from the bottom of my heart appreciate every message, text, email I got over this past week, i never realized how many indirect friends i had from being in this business, i got messages from customers i had 5-6 years ago, it was amazing. I also appreciate the understanding of any customers who might have had their order delayed this week. I had a few un-happy people because i was not available all week, but all in all just like i had all ways thought, all of our customers are just plain and simply really good people, and understand at a time like this a couple extra days will not ruin their life.

Thanks again to everyone.

Omg! That's awful! I am glad everything seems to be ok. Family is the most important thing in my life. Nothing else matters, so I truly understand ur absence. On a better note, congratulations on your new baby! When u get back in the shop give me a call.

Thanks jeremy, i just saw this message i think we spoke earlier this week.

things are slowly getting back together in the shop, im still absent a lot, but the guys here have stepped up and are handling it well and we are back at full capacity of 40-60 orders a week.

Just some pictures from while i was gone:

Looks awesome. Those little shop caps are really cool looking.

Well it sounds like the family is doing ok? Hope all is well for you guys.

Would you be able to make a pair of spike tube caps (1.5" o.d x .250" wall) for under $20? Im just asking since it looks like you machined the spikes for the arms above. Im also looking for a pair of jamb nuts, size 1-1/8" fine thread for adjustable link ends.

Rob,

Things are progressing, but there a long ways from being normal, and probably wont be for a while it looks like.

I just now saw this post, so if you need the steel spikes let me know, i can try to work out the cost, but im doubting i can do just a pair of them at that price, espically from steel.

Been another really really busy couple of weeks in the shop, been welding a lot after hours to try and keep up.

Heres some updates:

Jeebus Joint Set - Same as the budget set, but replacing the upper screw in ball joint, with a Jeebus Joint. Set includes everything you need to install, with all hardware and new billet caps for the jeebus joints , 849$ full set.

Powder coat, machined upper X-shafts, and custom options are available as well to any set. We are working on having these items as IN STOCK READY TO SHIP!

Im building a 2006 Crew Cab Chevy truck, and i cheaped out and kept the 24" U2 Wheels ive had around, and used them on the build. Decided to machine some custom center caps for them, i think they look pretty slick!

Ive really been working my my TIG welding skills lately. Been practicing my technique for regular fillets and weave fillets, trying to become more robot like with the procedures, and i think the practice has been paying off personally. I still have a long ways to go, but my right arm is less and less shaky each day from the recovery from last year, its doing good, almost back to pre-crash form haha. The lack of sleep lately has had me in the shop a lot after hours, and i remembered the day i took my first metal working porcedures class, over 10 years ago, my college instructor told me to give up on welding, because i would never be able to do it. Fuck him.
