Not a dumb question at all. There a bit different that the stocks, in the way that they triangulate the arm. The stock arms have that one mount on the inside of the frame and have that drag bar that runs from the frame to the arm, to keep it triangulated. These arms dont use that drag bar at all, because it limits travel. Instead they use two mounting points at the inside of the frame, to keep the arm triangulated. Here are some pics from a install at the shop: In that middle pic you see how the bar slides into the stock opening for the control arms, then is welded in place, those become your two mounting points for your control arms, and eliminates the need for that strut rod. hope that helps.
