your work is tip top! BUT the smooth bore is not a joke sir! random horizontal gashes in the metal is what you need to do to ALL of your control arms from now on. ive seen other people do it so it must be right! plus no one has complained!

For anyone that was confused from another topic on this site recently, this is a properly machined ball joint cup. Notice the smooth finish, and tight tolerances. That is what you want when you are making a product like that. Those results can be achieved by hand as well. I turned these two this morning, from some 2.5" OD DOM with a .500 wall, single piece, within .002 on all dimensions. they are for a dodge dakota.

what no grooves? thats just crazy madness right there. at least send out some jb weld as a fail safe

haha, JB weld is the KEY!~

just pack the hole full of it, then you dont need to worry about the grooves, the JB weld will fill in the rest!
