I have a customer that brought me his truck to work on a while ago. He had some tubular control arms produced for his toyota, by another well known shop, and those arms just happened to be sitting next to my MMW flat plate arms today in the shop, so i snapped this pic.

This picture should make it very clear, why i choose to make plate arms, i can do stuff with the steel that tube arms just cant do.a prime example of this will be the upper arms on my C10 truck that i will be posting soon, but untill then, you can see what i mean from this pic here.

ooo, did i mention, mine are 100$ cheeper?

How much did you narrow the F150 arms? I have been throwing around the idea of 24s on mine lately. You made my arms .25" shorter than stock. Do you think that would be enough?

It will all depend on the offset of your wheel. You can easily make the arms i built for you, work on 24s, just need to order wheels with the right offset.
