i z'ed mine 2" and body dropped mine 3.5" i took mine just past the pinch. you could z your truck in a weekend if you know what your doing. i didn't think it was hard at all. the body drop took alot longer i had to pull my motor and redo the crossmember below it for more clearance for the motor to come down a couple inches only  becuase i didn't want the motor sticking up through the hood too much.

thanks a lot. i needed those pics. mine won't be on 22's but i could still use them. i might put it 20's but i dout it. it'll more than likely be 18's since i can't afford a whole lot. that's why i want to do the channel. $2000 for a stockfloor is too damn much. thanks

--------------------------------------------- Originally posted by SolarX thanks a lot. i needed those pics. mine won't be on 22's but i could still use them. i might put it 20's but i dout it. it'll more than likely be 18's since i can't afford a whole lot. that's why i want to do the channel. $2000 for a stockfloor is too damn much. thanks --------------------------------------------- no problem man. took me awhile to figure out how to post pictures. hahaha. you wont have such nasty camber with 18s. get better lift to. i use the WHOLE range of the balljoints. they max out at full droop and the max out at full lift. im running re7's up front and re7's out back now.

this is my ride heightfull lock. locks out about 150psi in the front and 90 in the back.it will turn lock to lock still.

the z was plated with 1/4 plate and plug weld'd, notch is out of 2x3x.250 and sheer load gussetted with 1/4 plate (what i had) link bars are bottoms are 2x2x.250 and uppers are 1.50x.250 dom tube. bushing ends are from sd and tabs are from a buddy with a plasma cnc in abq also in st. back was z'd to keep the stock mounts on the bed floor. it has moog upper and lower balljoints, pie cut djm arms. custom motor mounts to lower the motor and move it back so the oil pan would miss the x-member. modded factory tranny member to move back and mount on the inside of the frame rails. no cat, o2 sensors moved moved the map sensor, and moded the throttel body to clear the hood.

i think im going to build custom arms, built spindles around the ranger 4wd hub and mount uniballs verticaly. custom frame from bumper to bumper, irs, inboard brakes, airtank frame, maybe a 302, smooth cab floor, firewall, sheetmetal dash, handmade seats and still a stockish look on the outside. thats after i body my dually on 24's thow. maybe also 275/25/24's on the ranger since i can get the lift with verticle uniballs. it can be done with stock sheetmetal.

any other questions just ask me man. if ya want my number pm me and you can ask me anytime.

I built these arms to run a uniball on the spindle vertically....should help out alot. Even after I pie cut my djms I could see that the joint was maxing out both ways and limiting my travel.(sorry for the crap cell phone pic)

Gunna weld the cup to the top of the spindle...have to cut some off the top of the spindle before the cup is welded on to keep the pivot point  at the same height.
