---------------------------------------------Originally posted by juicedaleroeverything sounds good except leaving it on the pinch.---------------------------------------------On these body style chevys the pinch is horizontal to the ground, so laying it on the pinch is the same as laying rocker. In other words... they don't have the typical pinch weld that you would normally cut off or fold over.

Thank you jeremy for clearing that up,  i guess i should have jus said laying rocker and it would have made more sense to people that are unaware of the design of my truck.  so in basic terms im laying rockers on 26's  new toys are in and as you see the new back glass is here to shave the rear.  here she is before we remove the factory style 5.7 vortec that has only 4000 miles on it, to make room for the 454 big block!   the notch that cam with my order, oops its way to small.  Its all good we are going to make a custom monster notch to get enough room to clear the 26's.

ok here are some more that i have been able to resize, i will try and keep you guys updated.  but i only get to see the truck on select basis due to my job keeping me on the road all the time.  Hope you guys enjoy this build as much as im going to, other than the burning my wallet up part. LOL    test fitting the new choppin block upper and lower control arms!!   yeah she is on jack stands, you see the rear end before we send it off to be shorten up.  to some kinda idea of how much is cut out of the back to clear those 26's and raising the fuel tank and get the room to clear it all.   we all know what these do to trucks!!  as you can see my compressor's underneath the bags.  Jus hope they get my off the ground far enough to clear the top of them 26's.   Well here is a little pile of scrap that we are building up for the scrap yard.  the fold down lid is going to be used to shave the rear of my truck and find someone that wants to buy a set of barnyard doors in A++ shape.  I will put some more on later on, when i get back to the shop to take pictures and so forth. I know the motor and tranny is already out of the truck and they are working on the rear notch.  Soon one day i will be on da ground.

I will keep that in mind, you never know when you might need extra parts when your build a full out custom.  I do like that engine driven compressor you have on that burb
