where do yall get fittings for copper, and what kind do you use?
IMLOWER   +1y

just regular  push connect fittings  any shop should be able to get them for you

Really? I thought you had to use swagelock (sp) fittings?   Learn something new everyday, so just regular brass PTC's huh??

I used it on a couple of vehicles, 1/2 copper line should be good to 640 PSI provided the right fitting is used, which by the way is Compression, and there are specific ones desgined to be used with copper.  PTC's will work but if the line is even slightly oblonged it will leak.

What he said above---^I never used Copper on a vehicle but back in my factory working days we used copper line (3/ with about 90 to 190psi in a HIGH temp (like 700f plus)  and it worked great.  It was a rotational molding facility.
