compression fittings on copper is the best in my years of experience. at work i've seen them handle as much as 700 psi. but that was on 1/4 tubing. I eventually will rid my truck of this nylon garbage and run copper and compression fittings

copper tubing can be flared too with a special tool like a brake flare but it is only a single flare we use it for propane systems all the time and never leak only type i will ever run also and looks good and will hold way more pressure then you will need

i use 3/8" hvac copper tubing and ptc, never had any leaks at over 200psi. i do hvac service and have seen this stuff withstand well over 700psi(not with ptc of course) just avoid contact with other metal parts because the copper is soft and it will get a hole rubbed in it quick if its vibrating against stuff. *edit cuz i cant spell after 9pm*

Anybody know the difference between "utility grade" and Type L? Besides the fucking dollar a foot price difference lol.

where do you get the copper ptc fittings? or if compression fittings are better to use, which is best- flared or non flared? is there some place to order them from, or are just the ones you find at Lowes or Home Depot the ones needed to use??

go to any place that sells parts for big rigs and big rig trailers and yuo'll find all the fittings you need

I don't even remotely have a place like that close by...
