A couple of years ago they had about 10 Overhaulin' vehicles at Sema on display outside of their big tent. It's true about the tax thing on anything that you win. I would pay for a Chip Foose custom, but it if was a stock vehicle that I won on the Price is Right, it would have to be worth it to pay for it  It's just like winning the lottery, you have to pay taxes on it.

I'm pretty sure there is a strict application process to go through to actually get on Overhaulin....so the part of the people not being able to afford it...I don't know about that...I'm pretty sure somewhere the money is getting paid...

your right someone is getting the money somewhere between all those donations ..lol ..of parts ..    and the time they put in .. but i like doin my own stuff on my vehicles but i sure as hell would give them my money  to get them to build me something like those ,,just would tell them to bag it ..on the ground

Plus for a year after the build the vehicles go on a car show tour before the owners even get them. In that year the people are to come up with the tax money. Sure alot of these people still have these vehicles in their garage just like they did when it was a pos and OverHaulin had to come and steal it. Plus since most these were West Coast so unless your paying attention to shows in these ppl's towns your probably not going to see them in Jersey.

go to the pomona swap meet and walk the car corral, you'll see one or two there, one of the times i went i saw 2 overhaulin vehicles and 2 pimp my ride vehicles. I asked the people or overheard them saying the main reason they sell them is because of being hounded by everyone that has seen the car on tv, like hey whats chips cell phone number, how can i be on overhaulin, can you take me for a ride ect ect
