look man if the dent isnt that big just 80grit sand the dent and about 2in around it bondo the dent block it with 80 then glaze it and 180 the glaze back mask it  after u mask take a red scuff pad and scuff the mask area prime the dent but dont prime all way to paper edge. block the dry primer with 320 then 400 wet sand or 600. wash the truck with dawn then mask truck whipe with greas and wax remover dont just leave it on whipe it and then whipe it off with a differnt rag. use a tack rag to  whipe the truck when done grease and wax removing. dont apply alot of preassure when using the tac cloth cause the glue can stick on the clean panels. id recomend going to rms or napa and getting the cheaper line of base clear paint at rms they have a bucket deal.it will make it much easier and a better job to 2 tone with base clear and its easy to mix. and i wouldnt use a hvlp gun cause in order for them to work like there suppose to u need to have the right air line and a good compressor. so just use a normal gravity fead gun with a 1.2 or 1.3 head. remember preping the vehicle is the most important step to a nice paint gob. follow these steps and u will be fine.

yeah get some cheap paint. is your truck worth more than a bucket deal go down to your local paint store stay with dupont, ppg, sickens,rm,or even house of color or planet color.

hey hey , I like those kind of bonuses. I actually thought about the single stage. Probably be alot easier for a first timer, plus it's my daily, so it ain't gotta be DEEP paint like a show truck would be. What's the differences between single stage and base/clear other the obvious one stage and two stage?

single stage is harder to paint than base clear if its your first time. and some times just as expensive dont listen to az art works cheaper paint isnt bad its basically the same as the expensive shit only thing makes it different is the binder if u know some one that works in the paint store they can mix u the cheaper line with the top of line binders we use ppg at our shop and put about 40 cars a week out and our painters say the shopline clear is just as good if not better that the ppg and the only difference in expensive base and cheap base is the more expensive base covers better. u can get  the same show quality results with cheaper line of paint if u know how to use it and it will last just as long. just what ever floats your boat man but if u stick with name brand shit it can get really expensive quick. and since its your first time i wouldnt recomend spending a shit load of money on paint.

i really think that for ur first time base clear would be better you can look at it before you clear it. and painting ur daily is just practice for doing ur show truck so use what u would use on it. really you can get all the stuff to do it for about 300 bucks. but i would stay with a reputable company.

Hey James, I'm not into that! I'm talking a painted accent or something.
