This type of 4-link / 2 LINK is new to me. Is the upper bar mounted to the lower bar, the pics are kind of hard for me to see clearly. I'd imagine if they are, it's to adjust pinion angle. It's basically like a ladder bar, correct?  Burban is gonna be awesome!! I am hoping to start my project Suburban in the next 5 years or so. LOL!!

i was wondering the same thing about the links. i saw a setup like that on gearz the other day. anyone have any info on how that works or know where i can read up on it.

i really have no idea, guys. i'll see if i can get Gavo to jump on here and drop some knowledge. All i know is it was originally going to be a triangulated 4 link, but to do that, he would have had to notch up into the back seats. Apparently, it's a lot easier to do that to a truck bed as opposed to an suv.

if the upper link bar is actually mounted to the lower bar then I would think it would be for pinion angle adjustments... Still a 2 link but at least this way you can adust the pinion after you burn everything in... help dial it in... I think anyways...

Hey Guys i'll chime in on the setup. Its basically a 2 link and yes it is just for pinion adjustment. The origional plan was triangulated 4 link but after a few measurements I found out that I would have to notch the rear seat coushions so that idea went out the window. I decided on this setup because of clearance issues. The lower bar needed to hang low like on a 4link with tabs so that the bag didnt have to sit so high on the frame. I also wanted to be able to "tune" or adjust pinion angle if needed. This setup is basically a traction or ladder style setup, nothing new or special that will change the way custom cars are built... wish I could have a claim to fame but no.... just a different way of doing things.

And Jumbo, to set the record straight... Waffle House Ninjas are better than whatever you said. Thats just cause I turn into one when drinking... at least I did last weekend and convinced the cook at waffle house that I was one!

Nice work! So there will be no rear seat?
