Did that truck really have anything unique other than paint? Body drops are standard mini truck fare these days as is a mild chop.To be the best ever I would think you would need to do some things that had not been covered before. No doubt that is a cool truck but lets compare it to the Time Machine. One off wheels?Volkswagon semiphores for turn signals?Stained glass back window that the graphics run through?"Vertebrae" crossmember?3D Graphics on the tonneue cover?Rear lights imbedded in the graphics? I am sticking with the Time Machine.

True time machine had lots of one offs but the best thing about both trucks is that they continue to inspire truck builds and I think that is bigger than just building a truck the owner loves.

I thought I had this covered, but here we go again. I had no intention of speaking ill of any other build, anything that involved genuine effort is all good in my book, but this one is downright SICK!!! Yes, Time Machine had all those unique bits, including the semaphores which are unique on VWs, let alone Toyota minitrucks, but I don't think the end result matches the look of this one. I'm talking about aesthetics here, folks, not effort or owner/builder personality. The paintwork and coverage on this Toyota is bar none in my opinion. But, anyway, the primary goal of this thread to obtain information on the truck, and possibly more pictures, a goal that was met to my satisfaction, so thanks again.

I have build photos I took as we worked on it. I'll have to dig them up in my old hard drive so I can post them up like tape prep and graphics layout. I'll see what I can find later today

Great truck, sad about the accident.  The truck is in great hands and I for one cannot wait to see what they do to raise the bar this time.

I'd love to see some one-off bits in the rebuild, maybe something in the seating department like the white Silverado crew cab with the custom aluminum buckets. Other than that, I really don't know how they would raise the bar. Possibly a set of more elaborate rollers. Speaking of which, what are those that were originally on the truck?
