I have two Ob2s in my 1966 Lincoln (heavy ass car) and they are lightning fast... just started putting miles on the car so we'll see how they hold up, but so far I'm very impressed!

ive got 2 ob1s and ran them for 2 months after i got my truck. sat at the shop for 3 months and drove it for a week and both took a shit. replaced check valves and 1 worked for like 4-5 days and now they both run all day but dont build pressure. fuck air zeniths.

i have ran viair for years i want to run some az's on this truck but the pricing on them just pisses me off.  at sd you can get 2 5 gal tanks everything to hook them upand all for the same price you can get the 2 im not a wasteful person and think its stupid that the price cant come down some more.

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by LowLyfe83 on the other hand, i had 4 of the OB1's and they all seized up. one afteranother. then they said they built them with stronger internal parts, and still burnt up. So... AZ comps dont impress me much for reliability. they sure do pump fast when working good though--------------------------------------------- My story almost exactly... And yea, they 'stand by' their product, but what good is that when you have to send it in, then wait two weeks to get it back... Especially if its your daily and/or thats your only compressor... Mine were all OB1's........ Dunno how the OB2s hold up... And to the guy who said it was installation error... I did everything in my set up as instructed... that doesnt explain this...  **My two cents...

I have had a horrible experience with the latest OB2 compressors. I was warned about them in the past and I should have listened to them. The check valves will get stuck, then they blow out the reed valves. Not to mention that the relays also failed due to a lack of arch supression. The contact pads were worn excessively causing the compressors to not come on or it would weld the contacts and keep them on.However, when they worked, they worked bad ass and were fast. But once they crapped out on me in less than 6 months of use, you might as well toss them in the trash. Not to mention, that instead of getting my compressor back, they sent me someone else's old one. I was even blamed for removing the relay, which I hadn't done. I was pretty pissed about it. But take it as you will, some people have been pleased and some haven't. You can find the same topic about Air Bag it, Viair, etc. When it comes to mechanical parts like these, trouble is part of the game. Just some people get the luck of the draw.
