steering wheel swap on a 96 s10. HELP PLZ!!!!

okay so i called jegs, summit, and even grant for a steering wheels insallation kit....... they wont sell it to me? cause its against the law to not roll wit out an air bag on newer car/trucks? i could give a shit bout dat!!!! nothing on my truck is leagl anyways. can some dat has done it awready plz help me out. all i need is the part number. thanx

my homeboy told me to ask for a kit for a 93 s10 kit? dat it bolts right on.just some trimmin is needed. Is dis true? anyone out there tryd dat before? and james does dat sound about correct to u too?

not sure what you need. all die know is dis, i see dem kustum steering wheelz on tonz of s10z at da shows. muztbe a kit suwmwhere. figured summit wuld hav itz.

you can try one of a first gen i know someone that used the same kit i have just have to make sure the steering wheel with have the 5 or 8 holes same as adapter. get one from autozone if it doesnt fit just return it

yeah randy. dats wat i told em when i was on the phone wit summit. they were being total assholes bout it.they were like "well we dont know how they did it? or where they get those kits from?" and james our autozone is wack. they dont have shit like that in stock. then when i tryd orderin it they tell me the vender is out of stock? dat grant is out of stock in dat? WTF!? i just called summit and told em a kit for a 93 s10 and the wheel has 5 holes. hope it works.

yall!? i need a lil help takin my steering wheel off. how do i pop off da air big? is there a special way to take it off?

damn, i wanna say theres 2 or 4 screws on the back side but cant remember.. disconnect battery for sure and maybe tug on it a bit if nothing remove plastic from around column check back side for some screws.

WTF!? okay? that fucken air bag wouldn't come off!? took the screws off in the back and nothing? wat else is holdin the air bag in place?
