The time has been long enough that the patent protection on the Sasche hinges has run out. You can look up and download the blueprints for them now. If you needed em in a different size or modified you could make or have your own made.

Nice truck! I called Saches about those hinges and they said it wouldn't hold the weight so I didn't get them...how are they working out for you? Any side to side problems?

Thanks! The side to side is not that bad. That was also my concern at first. Im not sure but I think your hood is a little bit lighter too. I tried using fox mustang hinges first but I couldn't get them to work, maybe after a few tries I would have made it work.Check out the link, I posted some one elses red truck like mine, I think they used 95 f150 hinges. The rest is all me trying to make my own. I think the idea is to mount the hinges as far up as posible.

FWIW the hinges on the red truck at the beginning of the thread look just like the stock hinges on my Dakota. Might work for you. The truck looks bad ass!
