Not finishing the notch seems to be common practice for a lot of shops on rangers because the weird dip the frame takes there, you need to make an extra 'cap' piece that i guess some places dont have time for.

This was my solution for the bag on bar and notch issue on rangers....wide notch to clear the stupid dip in the frame, and the driveshaft crossmember runs through the rails and serves as a mounting point to move the link bars further out so the bag can be centered.

Well it looks a whole lot better considering what it looked like. Word on the street is that there is a bunch of hatin' going on due to you hatin' on the "infamous" shop that did the original work. Sounds like a bunch of dumb shit to me but who knows.

As always i never said anything bad about the shop, just stated whats wrong with the truck and how im going about fixing it.

One last lil suprise before sending the truck home. Redid the switchbox wiring.

Lastly i developed a trans crossmember so it wouldnt drag or high center on the stock one.

Ill have these available on the site shortly.

Customer coming to pick it up at noon. Gotta get an alignment and shes good to go.

I have had the same issue on my Silverado. Nice to know there is a fix.

The truck came back for some sheetmetal work including a grant cal combo, shaved tailights, crooked tag box, and 44'' LED bar. After i finished welding it all it went to my painter Steve-O.

He also took off the bedliner on the rails and smoothed out the crappy shaved stake pockets they covered in fiberglass.
