well, =( doesn't look like we'll have the time to get the body work just right, so, the complete vehicle won't be at SEMA. I will be bringing the rolling chassis, however!

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed about it. Sorta debating on going, to be honest, I would be going by myself, so am not sure exactly if it's worth it.

I see the light at he end of the tunnel, but I feel like the light is slowly walking away from me =\

It'll still be fun to go, especially if you have never been before... you will be overwhelmed!

Yeah it's worth going and will help relight that fire for motivation. Last time I took one of my trucks was 2009 and since then I miss that rush around this time of year. But I would wait and bring the truck when it's completed and just go this year to hang out and party.

I went last year, (Jeremy we went from hard rock to downtown together with Aaron and Patrick) and it's fun, but really, I don't know many people going, so would basically be walking around solo.

As for motivation, I have plenty, its my builder that's having issues, and frankly, going and seeing a buncha trucks that are all done and fancy, is simply gonna piss me off. I've missed the SEMA deadline twice now.

i know what it's like to miss SEMA and the cause is completely out of your hands. Same situation happened to me. It's been a long road also for me and my project but i plan to make it to sema no matter what. So the major hang up is paint currently?

The major hangup is a number of things, from sandblasting taking 2 weeks cause the old paint won't strip off and having to scrape it by hand ... to the painter being busy and unable to tackle the work on time.

We're going to try switching to a different painter, and see if that can get us back on track to make it.

best of luck man, i hope you can pull it all together in time. this is my first year attending and taking a vehicle to SEMA. im feeling the pressure no doubt. but atleast i have paint all out of the way, now assembling the chassis and final details on the engine. hoping to be setting the cab back on the chassis this weekend. if you manage to pull it off in time ill have to buy you a drink in vegas no doubt.
