update!

tail light buckets are almost done. Aaron said he spent 3 days just on the top part, these were not easy to fit. The bottom has to be completely reshaped, and the sides of the bed are pulled in about an inch:

Bed corners almost done:

and the front suspension has been mapped out:

Lookout Pat this build has your number.
I am speechless and cannot wait to see the final product. This is beyond inspiring.

update!

Looks like we won't be making SEMA. Bummed, but, really, I'm enjoying the process. I'll only get to build my dream car once, so why not string it out, and make it absolutely _perfect_.

On to the pix!

and with some motor mockup action:

and good pic of what's happening in rear:

Thanks! Little side note, we got all the brakes in, but I forgot to take pix. None of it's installed yet. Also, I just didn't like the way the spindles looked, so I'm having Aaron make some new ones from scratch. Will match everything else on the frame, and just look right. Also, Aaron decided a new core support needs to be made, as the gaps just won't line up correctly when the grill is set up.

Next update will be the hydraulic/suspension armature stuff, I'm excited for that! then we'll put it all together and slap some wheels on it to see how it looks. THAT will be awesome! hehe

here's a pic of the frame on the ground:
