^^You z instead of lifting the crossmember to keep the relationship between the steering linkage and the front suspension the same. If you only move the x member up and leave the steering box and idler arm in the same position as stock you will be in for some serious bumpsteer issues.
As for the extra large z compared to most maybe he body dropped it by trimming material from the bottom of the chassis. If you drop this way you need to add whatever you cut off the bottom to the amount you z the front. Keef does his 73-87's this way, you dont have to mess with body mounts then.
