Thats sucks to here! I had been kinda watchin to see if it would come up for sale... I happened to get on local's website just to check it out again and seen it was in the former rides section. Man guess i should have checked into it rather than just waitin to see if it came up for sale...

From what I gathered the truck was repossessed and James couldn't do anything about it

I don't know the whole story, but making the pament usually prevents things from getting repo'd.

I agree, that's just what I read. If you go to Just Plain Tricks Facebook page you can read all about it. They have the photos of the truck stripped down at the auction.

Wow! Thats an end nobody wants to see for their custom truck project. Why did Josh up and bounce? He seemed like he was killin on it for a while there with his shop. Did he sell Hydrohaulics off before he closed down or are they gone now too?

Not like it really matters about Hydroholics anymore, as sad as that may be, but with Jeremy(tre5) having his new line out now and him making sure it all goes smooth, it would not have taken long for people to go to him and his great customer service compared to what people were getting from the new Hydroholics crew.

But that's another topic, back on point. This truck was one of my all time faves, and I can only hope mine finishes up anywhere near this level. So sad to see what has come of it.

Eric runs Hydroholics now and I've never had any issues getting ahold of him or any products. I'm sure their might have been a few weeks of downtime between getting the company going in another owners hands and Josh up and leaving. Just sayin don't count them out just cause there is a new company out.

Now back to the topic. Wonder if anyone knows the trucks new owner and what his plans are.

Not bashing Hydroholics at all, just thought they werent really around much anymore. That being said, I havent seen anything/heard anything from them since the transfer of owners and I am quite sure thats the same for many others. If theyre still around and thriving, good for them, hard to do stuff like that in this economy.

As far as the truck, sitting as it is, and knowing what he paid, im not sure id want to put the money into it to rebuild. Personally, id start from scratch, unless the ones that originally built it can re-do it. Aside from the obvious, the truck needs a complete overhaul to be anything like it was, or even a reliable daily for that matter.
