G'day guys,Never posted my build up on here before,.. so here goes.I basically copy and pasted from the Aussie forum I posted it on,...Hope you like it! lol

Added the tub extensions1.2mm steel welded to tub, fabed with curve and fake pinch sil.now i know why i am a signwriter and not a welder.. lol

Made a couple of these for temp tubs from come colorbond..

some tub work I did ast night

New manual valve switch holder. 6mm green edge acrylic

ok so I did some more tonight... should have worn ear protection.... lesson learnt!

anyhow

Time to fix up the haggard radio install from the previous owner - thats right - he used a 1/8 drill bit and drilled in a line about 28340798 times  anyhow,... now deleting the radio completley.

to start with

I masked it up and cut it out with a 1mm cutting disc. as close to the line as I could get.

I cut the infill pannel to lenght and test fited it.

Then proceeded to tack tack tack around the edges.

Now with a flap disc I ground down all the welds to make it look all pretty.

WHOLLA!

Tomorrow at some stage Ill buy some etch primer and filler and get it looking schmicko.

UPDATE:

Got arount to high filling the dash, doors etc.Put some pinstriping on there too You can kind of see the stainless steel knobs I am using now,.. got rid of the old black plastic ones. they looked like poo.

Some on the Bonnett also

I moved the airguages from the centre of the dash (under where the radio used to be) deffinently look much better there too.

I retrimmed the existing seat so it's all fresh and white again. and new black carpet to replace the crappy vinyl.

I finally finished my stainless steel fuel tank with a mate of mine. Lowe Fabrications.... He's an absoloute champ and has helped me with sooo much stuff.

We used the stock fuel cap and polished it up.

I etch primed, hi filled the spare tailgate I had (was in wayyy better condition)

Stainless hardlines baby!

OK guys - here is the gauge system I will be running.... thinking out of the square.. WAY outside!!!

anyhow....it is a truck Manual pressure gauge... thread tapped.. push to connect fittings...There will be 1 of these for each bag.and 1 push valve to get a reading....Just pust the button and the rod rises to the pressure that is in the bag.I am unsure where to mount them.. prob straight thru the top of the dash with the buttons on the front (where the radio used to be)

done!,...wel - just 3 more gauges to modify....Decided to mountthem in the ash tray!!!.... smoking is yuk anyhow.. LOLWill be rolling them at Mini - woot!

OK,... ALL DONE!!!

Loaded the car on the trailer for Mini Madness,... and I have also finished the air gauges!!!

Drop shabddow started

Orange outline

Close up

OK - Spent last night at Lowe Fabrications, The guy that made my stainless fuel tank and other various stuff...spent a few hours making some stainless ladder racks for the old girl ready for the wooden ladders etc..
