ok, so i might be trading my rodeo for a bagged mazda single cab. its a hour and a half north from where i live. ill be renting a uhual trailer to take my rodeo up there and bring the mazda back. my ? is has anyone ever put a bagged mazda on a uhaul trailer? im worried about if i lay it out on the trailer it might not sit right because of the floor not being flat like a normal car trailer. ive never towed a bagged truck so im kinda iffy about putting a block under the frame rail and then laying the truck out on the block.so if anyone can give me some advice it would be a big help

either block it up, or just tow it aired up. Ive had a truck with hydraulics on a uhaul trailer before, and had no issues. Just remember they are shorter, so sometimes the vehicles hang off the back.

But another thing, is that equipment rental places often rent car trailers too, and they usually have the standard 16-18ft wooden decks. So also look into that, as you will be towing both ways, and returning the trailer in your home town. I know united rentals, and some other local places to me have trailers.

i'd be more worried about getting there and them not letting you hook up a trailer to a rodeo. they wouldnt let me hook up a car dolley to a ranger before, im sure there are higher restrictions for an entire car trailer since they weigh more, i'd call ahead and find out before i made that drive

it looks like he was planning on towing his rodeo there on the trailer, not pulling the trailer with that vehicle.

i tow my mazda on a uhaul to every show and i use the straps on the trailer for the wheels and the chains in the back around the axle but i also bring rachet straps to strap the back of the frame down so it doesnt hop while going down the road........ other than that easy as shit

ive towed my toyota layed out on one before. it actually rested on the part that angles uprunning length wise (kinda like the wheel guides). but i would suggest bringing your own straps to hold the rear down better than the single chain they give you to use.
