Whats up! my name is Bryan aka B-man or just ~B~ for short. I recently acquired this 4runner that i have named Project "AT2D CHK" this project was built by another fellow member of my truck club, it is a 93 4runner with a frame swap to a 2wd pick up frame, 18 inch wheels, Parallel 4 link w/pan-hard bar, tripple bellow bags on axle, firestone 2500 up front. Front and rear tubs, shocks and stabilizer bar, power steering, heat and factory A/C. full stock interior with no tears or cracks, all power windows and locks. This truck was built to drive and that is what i plan to do with it.

These are the first picture i took of her before loading her up and bring her home I have not had a chance for newer photos but will try to get them up by tomorrow until then here are a few photos of what i have.

I also have a wagon that i built for my son that i would send along with it if you want to match a paint scheme.

what the hell, ill throw mine in the mix.... Im sure there are people in here that are more deserving than me, but its worth a shot. ive never had a truck thats 'mine'. i bought a bagged toyota(green one in my profile) in high school, and was working on rebuilding it, and i was rear ended and totalled the truck a couple months after i got it. I then put an accord on Air cylinders in my parents garage, and was T-boned a month after i had the interior done and had the car shaved. My next toyota(blue one) i had bagged and then body dropped, but had to sell it so i could quit my job to finish UTI. For a few years i idley sat going to shows dreaming of getting another truck, I then had the opportnity to purchase Ryan's 'DAILY DRAGGER' Frontier from No Regrets and drove that for a while, but had to sell due to my wife loosing her job and needing to pay bills. And now I have my recently acquired 1993 s10. I purchased this s10 from a friend that has had it for a few years. He slowly dressed up the engine, and interior, and about a year ago he tore into it, preparing to fully build it. He pulled it down to a rolling chassis, and stock floor body dropped it, and was going to bag it, but he found out his girlfriend was pregnant. So he put it back together so he could drive it daily, while trying to sell it to get money for his kid. I bought it from him so that i could finish it and let him finally drag it like hes wanted to for years. Plans are to bag/juice it on 20s and 22s. Shave the cowl, roll pan, mirrors, sheetmetal tilt bed. Chrome window trim, door handles and tailgate handle. Sheetmetal dash and center consule that flows into the rear cab wall. I would love to have it painted black, with subtle silver graphics ghosted in. The black/chrome combo is amazing. And i live about an hour from the shop and i am off every Sunday/Monday, so i would be able to help out every week on those days. I cant weld(hence why i havent ever been able to build my own rides) But i can do electrical, grunt work, assembly/disassembly and cleaning, and basically anything else that would need to be done to help...

Hey Jimmy, when are you going to announce the winner? and if there not at " Bring The Noize" are you going to contact them outside of SSM?

--------------------------------------------

I have been "Minitruckin" for well over 10 yrs now, I started with a stock S10, I bagged and did all the bodywork myself but was never able to get it in to paint. After Having my first child and going through a rough divorce I was not able to put the money into the truck for up-keep or modifications and was forced to sell my fist mini. During this time my Step-Father (RIP) had givin me his stock 95 Toyota pick-up, and told me that "he wanted me to finish this one". My new wife and I saved pretty much every extra penny we had for the parts to Bag' the yota. During this time of saving and buying parts one-by-one I was in a injured in a work accident, which has left me temporarily totally disabled. after falling 30 feet while constructing the roof of a church I have been laid off due to my inability to perform the duties of my job. I sustained injuries that left me with chronic back and neck pain caused by burst discs, broken ribs, a small brain hemorrhage, limited use of my hands, the inability to sit, stand or walk for periods lasting longer than 20 minutes and the inability to lift anything greater that 10 pounds which, regretfully includes my 5-year old son who loves everything about minitruckin and our club = SUNSET= He loves going to shows, rollin' in the "mini," and tinkering in the garage. Like most fathers I hope to set a good example for my son and show him that minitruckin is not just a hobby- it's a lifestyle.

After talking to a Close friend about selling the parts that I had accumulated for the Yota he offered his garage and tools for me to bag the truck. well now I had the time, the place and the parts but no money for material and odds and ends. After coming to this realization and talking again to my buddies, One of them offered to Front the extra cash for material in return for some work on his truck. So we tore in to the yota and layed it out! (I will forever be Thankful for these guys!) I "Z'd" the frame, built lower "A-arms" and built a 5 link with Plate lift bars and body dropped the bed. I also shaved the handles, antenna, tailgate and 3rd break lite. fast forward a year and a half, the Yota is doing good but still in primer and not finished, and my Step Father has passed away suddenly of unknown causes, Just before his passing he again expressed his desire for me to build "something awesome out of nothing." His death was sudden and very difficult on me as we shared many fond memories, including our love of cars and trucks and anything custom and I am saddened that he was not able to the see the Yota finished before he passed away.

I don't really know when or if I will be able to Finish the Yota, Since becoming unemployed in 2009 I have been unable to finance my own projects but am blessed that, despite my accident, I am still able to help other mini-truckers acheive their goals for there trucks And try to help anytime I can. I do have plans for finishing the yota but have come to the realization that I wont be able to go all out like I had hoped so I have settled on 1 color, non body dropped and a simple interior. I would love to bodydrop the yota and do a "Over the top" old school "minitruck" paint job like the "Time Machine" or "last look" with a clean Suede and leather interior with a smoothed and painted dash and other accent pieces, Clean nice sounding stereo and a built motor. I already make all the Cali and AZ shows and cruise nights so taking the Sponsored truck to shows would be no problem. All in all I would love for it to be my truck that you pick, but after seeing the other entries I know its going to be a difficult decision for you, But I hope that it goes to someone that deserves it! Either way see you guys in AZ at "Bring the Noize"

1989 extended cab toyota. 3.25 inch body drop, set up to lay 18's, everything shaved, led tail lights, more pics on my profile. I got this truck from my Dad with the intention of it being my daily. Well as you can see it went far from that. I took it to a "shop" to have it built, traded a guy a bagged and bodied mazda for the work.Well, the work got half done. I had to trailer it home from louisiana with the bed just hanging on by some straps the front bag mounts bent on the way home and that was with it on the trailer. I tore everything out and started over. I have been working on this truck going on 6 years now and with the adoption of my son and taking care of the family while my wife goes to school full time the truck has been put on the back burner. I really want to get it done so my Dad can see where the truck he gave has gone. He wasn't happy I cut it up. That's the story for me truck is nearing completion just need interior and paint.

Im all in can't wait to see who wins

The winner was picked on Friday I was on the committee of which there were 5 people on the committee. There were three people picked two were Sunset Trucks just so you know I did not do anything underhanded for them to be finalist. My Picks were non Sunset members my choices were. The 720 yellow out of Vegas the 320 uni-body from Northern California and the Courier out of Surprise AZ. I just don't like the fact that people are saying that I cheated because there was two Sunset Trucks picked. If you think that I cheated you do not know me as well as you think you do.
