In my experience I'd charge 24V about every 2-3 weeks, 36V every 3-4 weeks.

It puzzles me how so many anti-hydro people throw out the charge battery thing as such as hassle when you plug it in go to sleep and wake up and they're done.

Ya it doesn't sound like much of a hassle to me. I am just gonna go buy some 12V chargers and go that route for now. Thanks!

I have 2 of these on my van and i love them because you just leave them connected to you batters at all times and there mounted next to my batteries and i just plug them in at night and there charged in the morning. yeah and only charge like 2 times a month also. http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Pro-Charger-Three-Bank/dp/B0000XQ76S/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1297053716&sr=8-15

good links to chargers and good info for new guys. i had a street charger about 5 years ago and like cody said the batteries were never charged enough, always about %50. i would only think about a street charger if i lived in an apartment and couldnt get my car/truck close enough for power.
