so what performance battery is the best OPTIMA, ODYSSEY, KINETIK, ETC ETC

ive had a yellow top in my daily for 2 years now, and no problems. even through these midwest cold snaps we get. the only thing keeping me from buying another is word of mouth from people with bad experiences

kinetiks are worth the money , just check the ratings on the same size batterys , the kinetik is usually double the cranking amp as any of the others batterys so its like having 2 batterys in the case

any where that displays the cranking amps for the kinetiks their website doesn't seem to
i have a diesel and cold cranking amps is very important as my truck stock needs 2 batteries to start

I ran a start/deep cycle yellow top for a long time,with a 140 amp alt.
Problem with the Optima's is once they get below 10 volts,the only way to bring back to full voltage is with a slow charge!
I went with a Odyssey 1500,after some research,only military grade battery out there,full 4 year replacement warranty, & 12 year shelf life!
Also will fully charge with just driving!

I've been through 3 optimas in the toy. Once they lose charge they don't recover the storage. I've got two scosche batteries in it now. It rarely gets driven but I can hop in it and fires right up. They hold charge bitchin.

I would buy them again or use kinetik. Can't really touch their customer service and many in my club have them in their rides without issue.
