just pickin brains i did a fullsize for a customer and at the time he did not want to move the brake booster over to clear the 24 from touching now the is a vacum loss from it he wants to correct it now but is not willing to go the hydroboost route. anyone have an idea to do this cost effectively. thanks

check into getting one off of a 2500 HD or 3500 im pretty sure there alot smaller and i believe they are power assited off the power steering pump i dont know if it would be small enough in your situation i seen it dont on a 1500 and i want to do the same to my tahoe

2500 and 3500 use hydroboost setup.

hydroboost can be found on the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, as well as the 1/2 ton denalis, yukons, tahoes, escalades, ect....

or you could just move the factory booster over 1" and it will clear on Dave's truck.

yeah thats what i wanted to do he doesnt want to pull the dash

I've put hydroboosters in as well as moved boosters over without removing the dash. I bodied an 07 NNBS for 26's and moved the stock booster over 1.5 inches and didn't remove the dash. Just he really careful and there's no reason to go through the hassle of removing the whole dash.

You can also move the booster over without taking the dash out. It's pretty easy to do. Aaron did it to the armada without pulling the dash.

You could possibly look into a smaller booster, you'll have to push the peddle harder im sure but if he doesn't want hydroboost, and doesn't want you to pull the dash then there's gotta be a compromise somewhere. I've even seen some kits on hot rods that just have the master cylinder on the firewall and they are assisted by an electric pump, instead of vacuum or power steering. I believe the pump can be mounted anywhere also, so it could clear up alot of room for the 24's.
