What's his issue with the Hydroboost setup? I've converted mine for clearance and like it better, as far as stopping power and pedal feel. It's on a Tahoe, FYI.

jeremy its just one less thing i have to worry about .....i dont have time to go slow and be careful....i pretty much told him i would not move it over unless i pulled it i hate fighting under a dash to do things it only takes an hour to pull it......dave is one of those guys that is very picky....if he thinks there is a chance something might happen he will do whatever. it barely hits the booster just enough to create a noize when driving..... i drove the truck and it still has plenty of braking power just has a decompression noise when u hit the brake.....having the big wheels i would think he would want the hydroboost.... i think i will have him check the yards for one....is that pretty much a bolt up thing or is there piping, wiring and welding involved....everything ive done has always been bare bones so i just made whatever work...i dont really have tooooo much time to research being a painter/metal/airbrush/fiberglass/fab/resto guy....just need to pick as many brains as i can then i can average them all out and figure out what i will do.

The hydroboost runs off the power steering, so you will have some plumbing to do.

Just have to tee the power steering line and you have to make sure you get the pedal off of the donor truck, the pedal thats in the truck now won't work without modding it... Looks like you guys are trying to do it quickly so grab the pedal.

we just finished putting one on the 2003 sierra we are doin....fairly easy...as has been said you need the brake pedal to go with it and you can order the power steering lines from GM....only "fab" you have to do is drill a hole in the firewall for an bolt thats doesnt line up from the hydroboost....other than that it is entirely bolt on....my buddy did it in about 2 hours and he is not very mechanically inclined

her is a link to the how to on gmfullsizehttp://www.gmfullsize.com/forum/showthread.php?t=156800
