I'm sure most of you have seen our first project, the 300P Suicide Coupe, if not check it out here . Now it's on to a new one.http://www.streetsource.com/forum/113930_0_Buildups-Halo-SuperCars-The-Chrysler-300P-SRT-Coupe.html

We're taking an 06 Magnum that will be getting a 2 door conversion, and Nomad inspired rear glass section with tilted B-pillar. Add in a 300 front end, a modified TZD 300 body kit including a extra long deep dish grill, and TZD Firepower hood. Throw in our very own Halo shaved door handle kit, and fuel filler relocation kit, molded tail lights and a split hatch round out the rear end. Air Lift suspension on USW staggered 22" Extravagents round things out. Cover it all in Lamborghini Matte Ballon White with Super Jet Black roof and highlights. The car was originally a 2.7 and we'll be swapping it out with a 3.5 and possibly adding some power to that.As it rolled into the shop

Laying out the plan for the rear window

First thing to do is dissect the B-pillar by taking the outer skin off

leaving just the inner support

so we cut that out

and fill in the inner section first

then close it all up

leaving a nice big opening

then we set the b-pillar back into it's new home

new door skins rolled

Out with the 2.7

dropped in some brakes off a 5.7 and the Air Lift suspension

Driver side inner door skin is extended

Just need to stretch the window frame and set the angle for the rear post and b-pillar and we'll be ready to slap a skin on it.

Hopefully we get the engine bay painted, then drop the 3.5 in it and start wiring it up.

Dayum... can't wait to see more. Just curious tho, if your going through all that for the motor swap why a 3.5?

Cool build. I love watching these kinds of conversions. How are you going to make the windows?

I wonder how it's going to look with the front seats not being flush with the b-pillar when you're looking at it from the side. it might look like a 90 year old woman is driving a normal car lol

--------------------------------------------Lol...if I had a dollar for everyone that had asked that! The 2.7 in the car was shot, and we had a 3.5 we pulled out of the 300 we did. Since we had done a 6.1 swap already, and were told the 2.7 to 3.5 was harder, why not use what we've got and do something different than what we had already done. Yeah, we know it's not a Hemi, but being that it's probably going to end up being our shop vehicle and parts runner, and the fact we had a 3.5 sitting, it just makes sense.

Fab'd up the new, slimmer, door frame

This rear part of the door frame was made pretty much entirely hand formed

New B-pillar angle

Some pie cuts to get it into shape, now just need to put it all back together

We thought with some small changes we might be able to get away with running a flat piece of glass in the rear, but if you look at our tape line and see how much the body curves over that distance, there is just no way. Yeah! more custom glass.

Just a reinforcement bar, and the skin is ready to go on

No more C-pillar

B-pillar getting final skin

Rear window frame getting finished up

I like it! do you have a glass to fit the sides or is this a lexan job?
