Dayum... can't wait to see more. Just curious tho, if your going through all that for the motor swap why a 3.5?

--------------------------------------------Lol...if I had a dollar for everyone that had asked that! The 2.7 in the car was shot, and we had a 3.5 we pulled out of the 300 we did. Since we had done a 6.1 swap already, and were told the 2.7 to 3.5 was harder, why not use what we've got and do something different than what we had already done. Yeah, we know it's not a Hemi, but being that it's probably going to end up being our shop vehicle and parts runner, and the fact we had a 3.5 sitting, it just makes sense.

--------------------------------------------

Makes sense to me now... I'd bet teh 3.5 would be every bit as difficult as swapping in a hemi. Looking killer tho man, keep us posted.

I like it! do you have a glass to fit the sides or is this a lexan job?

We'll have real glass made. It's not cheap, but IMO it's the only way.

So, we've got the b-pillar pretty much wrapped up

Lots of hand formed pieces has really eaten up a lot more time than we had expected, but it'll be worth it in the end.

Unfortunately, plans for the tailgate had to be changed to meet the deadline of LX Spring Fest, so just a shaved handle and wiper will have to do for now.

Have a new idea for the passenger side, should help speed some things up.

Instead of making a piece to shave the belt molding, we incorporated it into the piece that forms the window frame and overlapped it with the rear skin and spot welded it. Should save some filler and body work time.

And here's the driver side just about done

A little tricky keeping the front to back curve in the skin with the small bends in the top of it, but we've pretty much got it right.

A little more work to get it back into shape, and we'll need almost no filler!

you guys do some amazing work! Wanna do a 2dr s10 blazer and shorten it about a foot and chop the top about 3 inchs. Would be pretty cool and one of a kind. Just saying, I'll donate mine for a project but I get it back.
