Price of Gas

Has the price of gas made you rethink what you drive maybe to the point of getting rid of your gas hog. Maybe the Mini truck is looking better and better.

i think people are goin to pay at the pump regardless...just like ciggs...people are goin to pay..dont have a choice not too. all that shit thats goin on over seas has little to nothing to do with our gas over here...we only get like %2 of oil from there..libya or whatever its called...just another way for them to make money off our asses! all my cars take no less than supreme so im screwed but oh well...have to pay.

I hear ya, just bought a small block for my truck, during the process of trading up from the V-6 gas shoots up 30 cents here in Canada and apparently is going to go up another 20-30 by the end of the summer....That would put us between $1.50-$1.75 per LITRE! so multiply that by roughly 3.2 and you get $4.80 at the least per GALLON!!!!!!!!!! Well Steeldrop beat me to my point. Gas in Canada is much cheaper then it is in the states. If I ever get a bigger vehicle I will probably get a diesel and try to run bio diesel in it. But honestly I just try to watch where I drive and avoid wasteful driving now.

Theres no reason for gas in Canada to be expensive... its our oil...

The reason I ask is about a year ago I asked the Sunset guys let's bring back the Mini Truck. I would say 90% are building Mini Trucks hell I even have one and I'm fat. I sure wish we could get the price back to when I bought my first Mini Truck now that was in 1970. They had Gas wars back then I could fill my Mini truck for $2.50 and sometimes gas was 19 cents a gallon. Bring back the 70s

ya its crazy, but there isnt a damn thing you can do about it, and artsar... when you need some biodiesel look me up we make it, 90 cents a liter

thats why ive decided just to take my 4.3 v-6 off fuel injection put it on reg carburation dress it up with headers valve covers and intake. i know it will not get as good gas mileage with a carb, just goin for the the look of a v-8 with some cool edelbrock stuff! i plan on cruisin it it alot! dont let this deter attendance to any shows u guys and girls..we def dont need that, gotta keep the events goin!! carpool if u must but just keep hittin the shows!! keep the fun times goin, its all we got!!!

gas goin up and i just had a kid so now im forced to only one maybe 2 shows this year. sucks but better than not even one show:XL:

Gas prices do effect going to shows but I have some I just can't miss.
