like 1/2 the engine comming out the hood, LOL
I had to take the coil off the firewall, and attach it to the right of the engine. (to the left looking at it) and extend like 8 wires. Had to notch the floor for the exhaust manifold, using a spoon pedal from speedway motors to clear the notch.

Very cool... im not sure how many of those issues ill have whereas i may go back with a SBC during the rebuild... but it sounds as if any other route and there will be numerous clearance issues.... cant wait to see pics!!!!

Joe, make yer own dayum topic, leaching off me, what the nerve. LOL j/k. Its looking good!
My new gas pedal, speedway motors spoon pedal, mounted the bottem hole of it to the left bolt hole of the stock assembly, ran a hack saw blade down the grey keeper, sanded the factory crimp thingy so it fit inside the hole, Drilled new hole, for the top mount, 10mm bolt/nut, now done. Sanded the keeper catches down, slid it back over the cable on the other side of the pedal, done.
A FYI, i originally wanted a larger more standard style pedal, the issue is they bent down and would hit the notch I had for the 454 exhaust manifold collector.
next is the abs brake mount thing a majig, 15" long 3x1/4" flat bar, then a smaller one for the mount itself, drilled hole to mount on the ouside of the frame using the steering box bolt, tubular gusset, done for now, may have to move for bigger wheels later,
