ok, update. Got a BUNCH more done tonight. Just came in at 2am...

After work at the body shop I ran to tractor supply co. in hopes of finding some super large steel trailer fenders for project- Dual-Lay.
And this was just wishing, well sure enough they had 2 32" backed trailer fenders, as well as 2 non-backed for up front. So this basically made my month...

Then

First off, removed the front inner fenders as well as everything in the wheel wells, which have been in it while it was bagged on the tiny 16s.

I then cut out the fenders in order to clear the Semis, which will according to my measurements will be about 1" from the hood, after it's door'd: WOW.

I also started to move the fuse box and wiring harnesses on the drivers' side, and started to fit my new 32" trailer fenders that will be both under the hood and inside the bed.

I also started to do measuring to figure out what type of firewall tub I'll be doing, and mounted up some stock steel dually wheels with 29" tires in order to be the height of a 265 35 22" tire for fitment.

And yes, I ran out of light and got alot done under spotlight, what I'm famous for.

haha yea... well I live in a development so the houses are not super close. Anyways, my closest neighbor has a big shop and restores cars out out it... and another neighbor 2 houses down does full paint jobs outta his. And I live near a dead-end, so basically I've got that end of the road on lock... lol

Since I've decided to run a 454 for next year, chrome'd and carb'd I've also decided to loose my 80-gallon fuel cell that's in the bed because it's setup on top with the OEM fuel pump setup, and it's just straight ugly. I just ordered this tank... for inside the bed, 20 gallon center fill:

I know 20 gallons isn't huge, but I only travel usually 5 hours max to shows, and since this truck will be basically all-show, that should be big enough for me.

It goes along with the hot-rod inspired theme, and I will be converting from nitrogen to an engine driven next year, and am going to order up 3 polished 5-gallon stainless steel air tanks for inside the bed as well.
