I met Jim in 1995 when we were stationed together on the USS McKee. I introduced him to my SunSet family and he instantly fit and became a member of the family. When Ifound about his death, yesterday, I was shocked of course. He was 36. I talked to his roommate today. He's the one that found Jim. He was lying in his bed. I don't have any details as far as the cause of his death but I will keep his close friends and family in Colorado up to date.
He was a great person. Me and him have been through everything together in the past 16 years. I will miss him and I'll think of him often.

Last night we met at the Sunset San Diego meeting to reflect on Big Jim his life and what he meant to us as a family member.

I'm sorry Bob, but actually he was supposed to walk across the stage to get his degree on the 21st. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from San Diego State University. I just wanted to clear that up.

Last night was great!!! There were a lot of stories and awsome memories.
