Couple reasons.. 1- They are completely foreign to me.. I know bags and I am a creature of habit so I stick with what I know. 2- It's a 1 pump set up. Which everyone I've talked to has told me that the way it runs now is how it has to be (rear lifts all the way before front lifts) and with the BD it buries the front bumper into the ground and cracks it all to hell. 3-Charging the batteries is a pain in my ass.. 4-Seals need replacing so it's leaking oil all over the place..

Those reasons I know can all be fixed one way or another but like I said I like what I know..

1-cant break habits, but i used to be all about bags, but now thats ive had 3 cars on juice, ill never go back2- thats a lie about the 1 pump, my last 2 cars have been 1 pump 5 dump set ups. there are 2 different ways to wire them 1 has 2 switches(front/back/left side/right side) the other has 5 switches(one to turn the pump on, and one for each corner). and with either switch setup you can even lift the front first! I do not know how to wire them up, im sure Jeremy will chime in, hes great at what he does.3-use the money you would have spent on bags, and buy a street charger for a couple hundred dollars, never have to charge again.4-it takes less than half of a day to change out the seals, its a lot shorter time than it would be down if you were to switch out to bags, plus the seals are less than $10 per cylinder.

Before you go and spend all this time and money on switching to bags, fix the small issues first(leak, and switches) and have the accumulators set at the right pressure. Drive the vehicle around for a month or 2, and see how you like. I can almost GUARANTEE you will love the way the juice rides, and you may even think its better than bags.

That truck was bagged, so I am not sure what juice setup is in it.
If it is a 1 pump setup, how many dumps? Wiring will not help your lifting issue if you don't have the right amount of dumps.
Bags are probably easier and quicker to swap out if you blow one, where as seals can be a bit messy to swap and will take the average unfamiliar guy a couple hours to do. If you have the proper cylinders and seals, you should only be replacing your seals every year or so. The benefit is that it is surely cheaper to change seals than it is to change bags. If you're interested I can walk you through what you will need to do to make the setup work right.
Also, I hate street chargers. I would rather spend the money on good batteries that last months between charges than on a street charger that keeps your batteries at 50% charge.

All very valid points.. And my buddy Jimmy (Jimmy's Rods and Customs) even told me that I would like them if they were done right.. But he also told me that there was no way to re-wire it. But he may be wrong.. And the cost of my parts and install is the same as buying a street charger and what I am getting for my set up.. So the only negative is the time down.. But to me that is not a negative.. I really like working on stuff and learning so it's a win win..

I don't know if I will ever really give hydros a chance but with their growing popularity maybe I will one day..
