I will have to agree with Preston, that truck was never really built as a "show tuck" that truck was built as a rolling test project for ideas that I had. That truck has a true cantelevered independent rear with an all tube backhalf that was done 4 years ago, and I will bet that I have more work and time engineering that than most people have in their whole truck. it is one of those trucks you have to look at from the inside out. The thing might look beat up, but thats because it is, it always has been. All I know is that while most people were trailering their painted "show trucks" because they were un-reliable, and some of which were unsafe, I drove that bitch as a daily. The wole time I owned it it was on a trailer twice, once to Greenville, and once to Lay'd out at the park, other than that, it was packed full of stuff and driven. I built that as an example that you can have a crazy truck that is reliable, could do exactly what you wanted it to do, and still draw attention without fancy paint. This has always been kind of an issue with me, I hate how people will judge an entire vehicle on what the paint looks like, yet pay no attention to the overall function and drivability. I have seen quite a few feature, and cover trucks for that matter, that I wouldn't even want to ride in. With some paint, that would be one hell of a truck. I wish I could have kept it so I could have made it what it could be, but I just couldn't have it around and fund another project.
I'm not trying to start anything with anyone or anything, just kinda throwing my thoughts out there, I mean after all, I am the one who built the truck to begin with, so I kinda feel the need to defend it somewhat.
