I started messing with a rearend out of a 2004 Explorer for my Suburban, but I'm not using any of the arms or frame section. And it's a little 3 hour a week project I mess with so probably won't be done ANYTIME soon. I will post pics when done though.

This is the rear clip. The wide part that is cut with 45's will go under the floor towards the front and the higher part that has the 45's will be the frame going to the rear. The crossmember that goes to the rear will have the diff. mounts in it and the cv axles will go above the frame rails. the differential will be 1 inch off the ground.

hell im %95 sure im swapping mine to solid. i cant ride low with where the center section in at and mine has been eating bearings. ive thought about redoing it and raise the center section but im narrowing my front track width and i dont know if i want to deal with narrowing the irs and still dont know if it will still eat bearings. this thread is makin me rethink it though.

well its not on my truck so i dont care lol as long as we do it right and it sounds like we need to take a long time to make sure every little bit is right. i will get some pics of it and try to put them up here, we are trying to figure out were to put the bags, we were thinking a cantilever setup wuld be easiest since the cage is all stock with a full 2x4 frame. but were just not sure, its in a 4 runner also so theres not a ton of room. im liking all the setups so far, give it up for rear camber!!! lol
