Cando Specialties/Steve Neilsen is/are THIEVES

Bought some stuff in June, paid with PayPal, never received my stuff. Now, before everyone flies off the handle, I have tried to contact Steve with no success. You call Cando's phone number, it goes straight to voicemail, which instructs you to email for better results. Now when I needed my parts, the emails we sent each other were sent and received in a timely manner, and PayPal'ed him the total for said parts within 24 hrs of contacting him. Now after 4 months of waiting for my parts, and sending some emails, I want my money back. PayPal won't do it, and now I'm forced to let everyone know the type of business Steve is running. Again, before anyone jumps the gun, this is the SECOND time I've dealt with Cando, and it's the second time I've had an issue with his business practices. Only reason I even returned as a customer, was to get replacement parts for a kit he built that I couldn't find locally.

BEWARE OF CANDO/STEVE, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.

From what I read on his fb he's super busy with 2 other businesses he has. I've never had a problem with his service sucks you did. Try contacting him on his facebook

i guess sence hes super busy its ok.

WOW this is the second fourm that ive seen this .... Steve is trying to sell CANDO cuz he said he has to much work and theirs not enough hours in the day .. Hes not a bad guy i think hes just overwhelmed and is hitting that point of no return..... keep calling him and tell him what the problem is ..!!!

I don't have time to go online right now. I feel my time should be focused on getting orders caught up. Funny how people are so fast to go online and try to talk. I don't have time for it as I'm totally focused to get all my CanDo orders caught up. I'll be in the shop the next few weeks every day and night tell they are all caught up.

i just got off the phone with steve....the guy is working alone trying to fab parts, take orders and deal with customers.
he's overwhelmed with orders......he said he can either answer the phones and emails or be in the shop fabbing parts
he feels sending the phones to voicemail so he can work is better than spending time on the phone and not getting things done.
give him a few weeks to get caught up....he's trying to get some help in but finding someone who does the highest quality work is hard....steve wont let the high standards of his parts drop....that's why he's doing all the jobs himself
and he's also got customer cars in the shop that he is trying to finish......i can understand your side too of wanting your parts...and yes it has been awhile that you are waiting...but give the man a chance to get caught up in the next week or two.
he's been working 70-80hrs a week in the shop trying to get caught up and hasent spent time with his family trying to get these parts done. maybe he should just tell everyone ahead of time that it taking longer to fill orders but he is out there TIGing up parts right now.
he told me he's got over a 1000 emails to return just from the past week.....hopefully he can get back into the swing of things in a few days

Everyone I know has refused to do any business with them since he fucked people over when it was still Alter Images

if he has work coming out his ears, wouldn't he just hire an extra welder or an office person to take orders and deal with customers? or just put the prices up so that he gets less orders.

He wants to sell it but still do customer cars. He said he tried getting help but noone could do things up to his standards.
