I wanna touch it. Question. What's the tabs running to the tank over the cell???

huh?

Right there where you have the tubing running over the fuel cell into the air tank??? It has the mounting tabs. It looks like exaust flanges???

My guess would be so you can remove the tubing and get the fuel cell out.

Oh haha sorry your lingo threw me off for a minute. Yes Chris you are correct. We had to make that section completely separate from the main crossmember because it couldn't have been all installed with the fuel cell in, and once tubing was in the fuel cell wouldn't go in. So our only option was to make those two bars remove also.

They mount to the tank???

it looks like they are using the frame and that tank as an air tank. so just run it like exhaust and use those flanges to hold air pressure

I'm guessing that the tubes that run over the fuel cell don't hold air. They probably stubbed some tube off the air tank to weld the flanges too. If you look at the top of the frame on the left and right of the fuel cell you'll see some mounting tabs (in both pictures), that means the fuel cell can't drop through the bottom. Also if you look at the rest of the tube work you'll see more of the flanges (in the second picture) so all the tube work can be removed, probably for chrome or some other coating possibly.

Yeah for sure. It kinda looks like it mounts to the tank??? Bolted??? I wish he'd chime in!!! Keeping me in suspense!!!

sorry for the delay. One the first pic i posted of the orange truck. The bars over the top of the fuel cell do not hold air. The flanges are just to allow us to unbolt them. the bottom tubes the connect to the side of the air tank will hold air, the main reason for this is to reduce the amount of visible air lines. the top frame rail tubes will hold the wiring.
