83 B2000 Sundowner Project "Creampuff"

Finished wiring this morning and lifted it off the blocks under its own power this afternoon. Ripped out at least 50 feet of random hacked up wiring from under the dash in the process too. Need to track down an air leak and run one more gauge line because I ran out of 1/8" line. Its running rough from a vacuum leak, probably from welding on the front suspension, but in the process of trying to find the leak we discovered a AA battery taped up and shoved in one of the bigger lines. Interesting to say the least.

Bed got put on the other day, had to cut out even more than what was originally done but its not too bad. Took it for a test drive last night, runs and drives pretty good. Carb still needs some adjusting but that should get done tonight once the egr blockoff is bolted on. Put it on the road today, alignment and inspection are tomorrow. And its supposed to be a gorgeous weekend! Pics:My buddy took a pic with his 318ti in the background, pretty cool I think.

Well got it aligned yesterday and it passed inspection! Put about 50 miles on it, theres a few electrical gremlins that need to be worked out but its pretty good overall. Going to a show in a few hours, pics later.

So thats where the truck is at right now, just trying to enjoy it for a few more weeks before it gets put away for the winter. Plans for next year are new wheels, shocks, redo the motor and wiring.
