The angle in the bar doesnt affect the waythe suspension works at all...only the mounting point of the air spring. Regardless of the angle in the bar...it's still a strait line from the axle to the mounting point. The bar could be in a S shape and from axle to mounting point is still 33 inches. It could be in a Z shape and axle to mounting point is still 33 inches. There will be some movement...but with 12 inches of lift, and 33 inch long bars...it should be an inch tops. That is minimal. You would get the same amount of movement out of any other link!!! Thanks for the compliments guys. I should be wrapping up fabrication this weekend. Then we paint, wire, and plumb.

Not too shabby.

After some algebra...looks like the rearend will move about 2 inches. It is 1/2 moved forward laid out by design...center at ride height...so at full lift it will be off center about 1.5 inches. I'll take that as long as its centered at ride height. Like I said...the 2-link is what it is. Cheap and gets the job done. I have 3 frames after this one that will be getting 4 links. Different situations...different budgets. But the angle of the bar will not change the movement...that's just a neg of a 2-link. Any other link will move...maybe not as much but it will still move.

when you don't know what your doing, hire someone that does ^

the only reason we are running the 2 link is to conserve as much floor space as possible, if it was a truck with a bed and unlimited room i would have done a 3 or 4 link.

He was talking about the wheel moving front to back during travel. The angle of the bar does affect that. The closer to vertical it is at the start, the more the wheel will move front to back. I'm not trying to argue with anyone, just want to post that up. lol

Work looks great man, and I love those body mounts.
