This is crap and breaks my heart to see this kind of stuff happening everyone on the get rich quick by playing the sympathy card knowing people will be willing to give for a cause like that. My grandma passed away in 2003 from terminal cancer while I was overseas on deployment and for someone to do this really upsets me personally as well as those of you others that have had someone close to you either fight or pass on from it. I agree I really hope bubba gets his hands on this punk and finds out why he is in there and destroys him it would be well deserved for his actions.

someone in jail should beat this to death. i have stage 3 cancer at 30 years old. been a mini trucker for 15 years. since i found out i had cancer i've never asked anyone for a dime. not even to pay bills or help with my 2 kids esp not my truck. if that asshole really knew what it feels like to go thru chemo and all the crap that comes along with cancer. not just the physicall part but more important the mental part. this makes me sick

First off this guy is a real douche bag for using such a horrible disease as cause to build his truck! I think a large portion of us have been touched by his horrible disease from family,friends,co-workers,club members to neighbors. I'm glad to hear he has been busted even if it is for a different cause like somebody else said Karma is a real bitch and he got it back in spades. I think this guy should be made to pay back all companies and people he took advantage of plus the truck should be sold and the funds from the sale should be donated to any cancer charity or cancer hospital. I'm sure a lot of us would like to see this prick get his ass beat to a pulp.

Follow up:

A Texan who faked having cancer to get donations has been sentenced to two years in state jail.
A judge in Belton on Monday sentenced 33-year-old Brian Jeffrey Bonniwell of Austin, who in June pleaded guilty to theft. Bonniwell, also known as Brian Fisher, was fined $1,000, must repay more than $1,500 and has to surrender his truck.
A "Battle for Brian" benefit was held last year in Killeen. Bonniwell received cash donations, plus free parts and labor on his vehicle.
Bonniwell in 2005 was sentenced to 10 years of probation in Travis County after being convicted of burglary.
He pleaded guilty last November to fabricating evidence for giving his probation officer a fake cancer treatment document. Bonniwell received five years in prison. His latest sentence must be served consecutively.
