Flat Dat Unfinished Business

Thanks guys and thanks Ryan for posting a picture after sandblasting. Glad everyone is getting the old and new theme of this truck. I think it will be bad ass but maybe it's just me.

Not sure when it will be done. I have a time line in my head but moving as fast as we can. I really don't want to rush it and make any mistakes and have to go backwards and re-do stuff.

Wow Bob, not sure how the hell I missed this lol. I am going to post a pic of the rendering in my section and when I get started I will begin the build thread of your seats and the modification of your dash. It will be after my 2 SEMA builds though. Great progress! I can't wait to get started on what I have in store for you.

Thanks Ryan I really want to think outside the box on the interior. Thanks for posting build progress of them on your site as things are moving I would like to make SEMA but not sure the big thing now is brakes, radiator and paint.

I like the sound of a SEMA 2012 run!

Just a couple of things not sure I can get finished before then.

awesome this build i wish chubbs was here to see he would be all about it ....... i cant wait to see you driving it bob ..... my son is just liek your grandson he is all about mini trucking @ 3 years old he saved up enough change i would pay him for helping me work on my mini to get his own logod freaks of nature hat ... cant wait to see what the younger generation does as well lol

The funny thing about this Build my grandson who is three is already calling it Ryder and Grandpa's truck. My son is really into it he is 24 and has been around the club since he was born. My wife was not sure about the truck she said that it needs a lot of work but she now has been in the garage helping when I need a set of hands. It has been a family affair that's for sure. I built a shoe box Nova a few years ago my wife said it would never be cool. I told her when it was done we would go to cruise nights and I bet that people would walk away from other cars to look at it. My wife don't see it so when we went to our first cruise night took best of show. My Wife was like wow. I told her the Datsun may not be a Best of Show but it will be bad ass. I think I have her convinced about the truck now that she is seeing progress.
