basically the truck sets in primer.everything is bein done by myself.due to the fact i dont have millions to pay people to build it for me.so im hopin it turns out nice.im not in it for trophies.so heres the skinny on the truck-full hand built chassis-custom made control arms-custom spindels-custom four link set up-custom compressor mounts-custom everything. candy apple red frame-interior whas 1997 frontier dash fully smoothed out-sheet metal door panels-stereo and bleeding subs lol-exterior will have suicide doors stock handle location-some type of flush mount door handles-2004 frontier front end swap-will lay 22s on body-shaved firewall and if i forgot something ill let you know as i go.350 motor.this is pretty simple right haha not.enjoy the post and hopefully it will bring some positive feedback thanks guys

yes the frame is in the build process so obviously i need to angle and cut some stuff still its in mock up stage.front frame rails need to be cut and brought up to cross member height which is 8 inches from ground.

Are you building a jig? I did mine without one but kept the A frame. I wouldn't build one without a jig again.

what kind of issues did you run into? im not planning on doing that due to the simple fact to buy more metal for a jog its gonna cost a lot....i may just get a couple to help and make sure this goes together stright as an arrow

Cool build man, I love Nissan Hardbodies. A little advice, it would be best to build a jig now then have a problem and rebuild everything later. You'll spend a little more on materials now but if you have to redo it you will spend a lot more time and materials later. Keep us updated man, looks like a fun project.

Ya they are 100% right... If nothing else just get a big sheet of 3/16th and lay it on the ground so u can weld the rails to it so they wont shift while welding... If u do it "freehand" u won't get it square... so all the time and money ur spending will be a waste on something that walks doglegged down the road..

i may take you up on the jig lol.....we shall see.appreciate the feedback. more feedback the better. but im thinkin on doin some type of jig so it dont dogg leg down the road...

Wasn't there a Guy on here tht built a jig with wood? Tht could be an option aswell
