A decent wood table will work better than a metal one that's off a little. We put together a whole round tube frame in a day, on a wood table I put together in the morning.

But tried doing another frame on a metal table we borrowed. It ended up being a PITA because not all the crossmembers were level and the sides of the table narrowed in the middle so it made it difficult to take accurate measurements, or set anything up. Would have been easier to do it on the floor I think. lol It took us a couple days to lay that frame out.

i may have to do this on a wood table cheaper easier. and would be just like metal especially since this is a one time deal...im gonna build this one and get it fully done.maybe a feature in trash can on the hardluck of the month in a magazine haha...full painted and customized and its in a trash can haha....no huge dreams in this project due to the simple fact that dreamin wont get you anywere.
