So what is going on? SSM Transfer.

All i want is to not have a giant white gap at the top of the page above the thread. I swear I have wasted so much time thinking a page was still loading when all I really had to do was scroll down.

One thing that prevented me from wanting to update the pictures for my rides was how annoying it was to upload.. You had to click 'upload picture', select the picture then select which ride you want it for, then upload it, confirm, then click the 'upload picture' link and do it all over again. I would be nice to upload it from the specific build profile you want to assign it too, and upload multiple pictures at once. I haven't uploaded pictures since last year, so I don't know if its been changed, but I just wanted to throw that put there.

I admit I am glad the site is going to still be here. Getting online and seeing others rides kept me motivated to keep my project and not sell it off.

Things that I like to see return, a show calendar, I used this most of the time, I loved the fact I could search by month or by state. I liked all the specific form information, if you were looking for air setups or say something specific to Toyotas or Nissans you could find it faster. I actually liked the top 5, but think if that returned there should be a top 5 and maybe a random ride. Sometimes it brings things back to a topic for people to follow up on. I like the top forum topics but I might expand this to say 20 for the front page and maybe the top 50 for a link below the top 20 topics. I personally liked the mag but understand keeping it going might take more than its worth. I like the show coverage uploader but sometimes it seems that 20 people posted the same 15 trucks from the show. To me show coverage gets 95% of the vehicles there. Yeah might not be something to look at now but keeps people motivated to know that someone took the time to take the picture. It also gives a reference point of what people started with.

Things I did not like, adds that pop up and take five minutes for the site to load. I totally understand that adds are needed to run the site. Some people don't have access to cable or DSL internet. The facebook type post, I don't do spacebook and its easier for me to follow, plus I can edit my post (might be able to here but easy to figure out forum style).

Things I would like to see, I like a black background with light colored lettering, easier on my eyes. I understand others might not agree so have an option for the "skin" as some might call it.

If I had not been a member of SSM I probalby would not have been to quite as many shows, and probably never a river run like WCN where I got my face marked up for falling asleep by the river ( I had to laugh but it sucked getting it off).

Just to add to my post, something else I love is the owner profiles. The option to search by vehicle type, model, year is the best I have seen so far. I just wish people could post it in the right location, for instance, if you had a Nissan Hardbody truck many ext cabs would end up in the Hardbody standard cab section. This wasn't clearly labeled and might not have been an option until after the profile was created but it your looking for something specific, the say 200 trucks you needed to look at is now about 700 so you can seach both areas. I like the fact that this was also arranged by the last update someone did.

Things I would love to see is a feature section, if a member gets featured and lets you know. You could post the article as it was seen. I am not sure the copy right rules for this so might not be a realisitc idea. Also in this feature section is a "where are they now?" , rides that changed the industry the article that ran and if possible what it looks like now, Of course with this you might need a box of tissues for some projects.

Something else I liked is the clud directory, if I am searching for someone in another club narrows it down a bit.

What I would like to see.
Last poster on the hot topics like it used to have on the front page.
Some form of code html or vbulletin style so you can have the pictures in your thread post instead of some random order at the bottom.
The site doesnt have to emulate facebook. When I go to speedtv.com the hamb etc I don't wish they were all like facebook. Having a different look is fine. Being a bad knockoff is not.

If this site doesn't look EXACTLY like facebook, when i come back, i will NEVER, EVER return.... just saying, it's a deal breaker, it's FB or nothing
