I really appreciate the comments about the truck and I'm sure my bro does 2...it took a lot of work just to get mine to the show. I worked probably a week solid after I got off work just to get it runnin (bad injector and fuel pump/filter). It made it all worth it to get in the Top 50. I actually cleaned the truck up Friday night in the dark! So please excuse the dirtyness...And you should have came up and talked. Doesn't matter if I'm with my friends or not. I enjoy talking to anybody and everybody. Were you the guy on Saturday in the tank top looking under the front suspension?? I was thinkin to myself, I bet that guy is on DuallyScene!

damn right that was me thats funny you knew that. yeah after i got about 50 miles away on sunday i thought to myself "god damnit i had some ?'s i could have asked him about that truck" oh well. you hittin up any other shows this year?

I thought that was you! I think the next one is gonna be Spring Fling next year. I don't think there is any more we will be goin to this year. I might go to SEMA but that's still up in the air, and I think everybody backed out of drivin to RESO. I could always send some pics when I start workin on the front

what are you doin on the front? the "08 conversion? if you do that let me know if you wanna sell the "05 bumper,grill, and headlights.

I actually like the Harley front end better than the '08's, mostly cause of the headlights. I'll probably keep the '05 for all next show season then redo it with the new front over next winter. I'm just going to clean up the outside and make a few changes for '08 show season. Definitely cut the wheels and either chrome or powdercoat them, fix the paint, clean up and rework some suspension, and finish the interior. Definitley have some performance planned for this winter too....

I am going to build new upper and lower arms for the front, redo bag mounts, put Slam RE-8's in and get some better shocks. The arms can come out another 1&1/2 inches on each side. That will be the biggest thing it needs cause it barely clears the 24's now. Then fix a steering issue, tie rod ends were flipped on spindle to fix binding but they drilled out the spindle so it would tighten down and it's not on a taper.

damn i didnt know they flipped them like that. well at least your takin care of the problems and will make it even nicer. sounds like you have just some little stuff to do.

i just wondered about the front end cause your streetsource profile said you were planing on updating, i still dont know how i feel about the '08s yet.

Believe me, there is a lot of little stuff that needs fixing. It will all get done in due time. The truck has been cursed for some time now, hopefully I can turn that around. A lot of the stuff was due to neglect and poor maintenance........I'm not a huge fan of the '08's either. It would just be cool I guess to have an "08" layed out. Do all the other stuff to update it to an '08 and different paint. Just seems like the next step to update it
